Deutschnofen farmers’ market
Every Tuesday from the beginning of August to the end of September the traditional farmers' market takes place in Deutschnofen. On offer are regional quality products such as cheese, yoghurt, bacon and sausage, fruit and vegetables – all of which come from local farmers.
Geological hike: GEOPARC BLETTERBACH
Between Aldein and Radein, in the south of South Tyrol, there is a natural spectacle in a class of its own: the Bletterbach Gorge. This enormous rocky gorge, 8 kilometres long and 400 metres deep, gives you an impressive insight into the interior of the mountains and the different chapters of the earth's history. Petrified shells, plant and animal fossils, and various types of dinosaur tracks are sure to leave you speechless! Registration at the Deutschnofen tourist office.
